All reports are treated as confidential unless the box has been ticked indicating that the information
may be shared.
Number of Reports Received
This year we have received significantly less reports than other years. We received 12 Bile Acid Reports
and no medical reports at all.
Litter Reports
It is pleasing to report that none of the puppies tested this year had high scores and no Portal Shunt
cases were reported. There were two separate cases where puppies were reported informally (by phone)
to have higher than normal scores, but subsequent testing revealed lower scores and finally clear results
in both cases. These cases were never actually formally reported in writing.
Research Grant
We are still awaiting a report regarding The Cairn Tether Bile Acid Testing Program which concluded at
the beginning of last year. When this is received it will be reported immediately in the next Bulletin.
